Traffic cop tried to screw me up just now

my 2 cents,
You worked overtime and got home safe. The cop started to be pushy, then stopped. You could have had an accident, but didn't. You did get a ticket. I'd say this sounds like a good day.
On top of everything , you learned something in as painless a manner as can be accomplished. That is that when you think you are alone on the road, that is EXACTLY the time you should use turn signals; to let all those people you do not or cannot see know what you are about to do.
For myself, my biggest driving fault to correct was not stopping at stop signs well enough when "nothing was coming". I'd bet big money those two tickets I got for sliding thru stop signs years ago are what saved me from "the big one".
With the first ticket I thought the cop was a jerk, but with the second one, I thought if I didn't see the cop, I probably wouldn't have seen a car or truck either

Look at it this way--let's say you and some other guy were driving down the street. The only two cars are you and this other guy. Said other guy cuts in front of you without using his signal. Now imagine you have the authority to pull this person over and cite them for doing so.

I wish I could afford to hit cars that don't use the turn signals.

🙁 :|

How much work is it to push the little lever?

My 1964 Plymouth has turn signals, and They work!

Oh and the Horn is LOUD,LOL louder than my 1995 Chevy van. Old cars rule.
