I don't think we have any here, but if I were to encounter one, I'd call it a roundabout.

I voted "traffic circle" because that sounds more like something I would say.. I've never used rotary.. as in, "That's a rotary.".

Doesen't make any sense.

There are two of them on a country road just north of Cornelius (south of HWY 26.) Out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by farms. No idea why they thought it was a good idea.

What about the idiot who thinks that a 4 way stop is more efficient? They work very well (well, except when you have idiots who don't know how to use them).

Nobody is allowed to call it anything but a roundabout. I live in the town which has the king of all roundabouts, it's the only thing Swindon is famous for.

There you go.

I've driven across it a few times with ease and I'm only a learner. People who can't use roundabouts are retarded, they are everywhere in the UK.

They are an extremely efficient way of dealing with traffic flow.

Maybe because it works with 5 ways too.

They are working on installing a "Traffic Circle" is what they call it here for a point where 5 roads meet in Abita Springs.

Not far from where Abita Beer and water is bottled.
