Tractor-Trailer Flips, Spills Beer

DES MOINES, Iowa -- A tractor-trailer made a big mess when it flipped over at the east intersection of Interstates 80 and 35 Friday morning.

The Iowa State Patrol said the driver lost control as he was exiting onto I-35 north. The driver escaped with just minor cuts and bruises, but his cargo was not as lucky.


The trailer was hauling beer. Hundreds of cases of beer bottles spilled into the ditch.

Crews spent several hours cleaning up the mess
