Tractor key

Went to go mow today and I can't find the tractor key. Its a Yardman tractor how generic are the keys for this?

Just hotwire it for today, and if you still can't find the key go get a replacement ignition switch from autozone and wire it in place.

No steering wheel lock or immobilizer to worry about on most yard tractors.

Briefly considered hot wiring it, to much stuff to move and cut to get at it

Small flathead screw driver should do the trick.

Pretty sure there isn't much to cut up to get to what little wiring is in a lawn tractor. Good luck.

And if it doesn't, then use a big one.

Call a locksmith, see if they can get you a key from the manufacturer. Or cut one that will work.
