I just filled out mine. I think I might be just under the 90 day warranty. Lets hope I get my new 7900.

I was shocked :Q by the price of the shipping too. Maby that includes the handling for them to take your card out of the box and make sure it works?

I thought the shipping prices were fair. I'm doing 2 days both ways and EVGA's rate for shipping to me was cheaper than any rate I could find for shipping to them.

2nd day air for under 20 bucks isnt bad. When i went to the UPS store to ship my card to them they wanted 50 bucks for 2nd day air. EVGA cant afford to be paying any of the shipping cost on a program like this i would assume. Dont bitch cause you are a cheapskate and wouldnt pay the extra 5 bucks to get it in 2 days instead of 5. You get what you pay for. I sent my card in on a Monday by UPS 3 day select. They got the card Thursday night. They sent my card first thing Monday morning and i got it before noon on Wednesday. Thats not bad at all. And i live in Montana. All in all 8 business days because i didnt want to pay for 2 day shipping to them. I paid a total of 28 for shipping but i felt that was worth it considering i was without a PC the entire time.

Bottom line is if you dont want to pay for fast shipping dont complain about the shipping taking so long =)

Well, if anybody's concerned .. I got my new card (After RMAing the step-up card) .. and it seems to work okay. I am a little disappointed with the 3DMarks05 though

Wow... long thread. Anyway, good to hear about you guys that got your cards successfully, but sucks that others aren't having such luck. Then again, eVGA offers this, and all good things come at a price. I just ordered a 7600 GT from the egg, and it should arrive this week. Sold a 9800 pro for a BIT higher than expected ($75 for it! stock!), and I was considering upgrading to a 7900 GT/CO within 2 months or so. Would you guys recommend doing this? Hopefully by then the wait will have lessened. Also, there is a rebate available through Newegg, and I'm curious if it's worth sending this in (does the 15% restocking fee apply to cut UPCs?) or not. Thank you for all your patience. I've read through all 27 pages, and I didn't find responses to my questions, so I'd appreciate answers. Thanks much!

Wow .. I didn't realize that the thread is so long now (27 pages ). Anyway, I think it'll be a great idea to step-up to a 7900 GT CO. By the time your turn comes, all issues with the 7900 would have been fixed (In fact I think the new batch is already good enough).

But I don't understand why you would want to wait for two months before applying. Even if it is taking a lot of time, there's no harm in applying right now. Then when your turn comes in a month or two, you'd be glad you did so :)

ps. If you are going to use the UPC for rebate, then they won't apply the 15% restocking. But, your original card's value will be "Original card's cost - Rebate amount" for the step-up, which is obvious.

Another question I had, is do the MSRPs ever go down, like do they follow how much the stores charge for the cards, or do they just stay at $300 or whatever the whole lifetime? Part of the reason I'm gonna wait is to hold off and get the money to upgrade... looking for a 79 GT CO, probably.

Sadly:( they only let you do it once. I stepped from a 6800 GS to a 7800GT. I'd love to step up to a 7900 :D -----EVGA says only one time to a customer:roll:

I don't think so!
You just cannot step up the card that you got from EVGA through step-up.

It's once every card. Meaning if you buy another EVGA card, you can step it up.

My bad - - - would you buy my 7800 and lend me a hundred bucks?;) Kidding aside, the thought of selling my 7800 and buying another for a step up is not too far fetched - - - hmmm?

Just registered now and applied for a Step Up from the 7800GT to a 7900GT Superclock .... I am #209 in the queue (and in no hurry on getting the new the card) so it appears that they are filling around 75-100 per shipping cycle of cards that they receive based on previous posts here. I bought the ZZF bundle as well, so I'm paying $12 S+H to get the card. EVGA, I will continue to buy your cards simply because you supply a great program that covers an upgraders arse every now and then.

I bought the $350 7800GT & Motherboard combo from ZipZoomFly. I entered the full $350 for what I paid and EVGA gave me a 7900GT SC for free. All I had to pay was shipping. So yes it does work.

Well, instead of delivering to the main office of my apartment community like they usually do, they tried to deliver to my apartment...of course I wasn't home! So I have to go home, sign the thing, and request they deliver to the main office tomorrow. But my Zalman VF900CU arrived today from ZZF!

Me too dude. I got my Zalman VF900 today, 7900GT set for delivery tomorrow. Got a conductive pen on the company dime! I'll find an official use for it hopefully later. :)

EVGA is awesome. They shipped my 7900GT out the same day they received my old card. That's good service in my book. Very cool.

How long did it take for EVGA to tell you what number you were in the queue? I submitted my stepup last week and I haven't heard anything about a queue or my place in it?
