Chances are the kids can hack that thing up to tell you whatever they want you to know :)

If parents were any good as parents they wouldnt need crap like this.

Its not to watch over your kids, its to be able to find them IF SOMEBODY TAKES THEM.
The first few hours are critical.

Send all your bitchin to Poly Klass's parents.

So they are supposed to turn on the watch if they get kidnapped? The kidnappers arent going to realize "Hey, what a spiffy watch" and either throw it out the window or sell it first chance they get? I am sorry, but something like this WILL be abused. And who the heck is Poly Klass?

ITS ON ALL THE TIME
THE BAND IS CUTPROOF
YOU PAY A MONTHLY FEE
YOU CALL A CENTRAL SWITCHBOARD AND GIVE A PASSWORD
POLICE DONT NEED PASSWORD
THERE IS NOTHING TO HACK

I gave the link - why do I have to hold your hand?

"Wherify Wireless has developed products and services to compete in the Wireless Location Service
markets. Our current technology is patented and covers any locking, cut-resistant band device. Our initial
product line consists of a lockable Personal Locator that functions as a GPS location device, pager, watch,
and wireless telephone transceiver. There will be hundreds of future products in many form factors using
both identical and enhanced technologies."

Poly Klass was kidnapped right out of her bedroom window at night in northern Ca. A multiple ex-felon
kept her in the trunk of his car, the cops actually helped pull his car out of a ditch while she was still
alive. After two days he raped, tortured her and killed her and dumped her body. The Klass parents have
been all over the media since then - like the Today show several times.

BLAH!!!
Negative thinking Pinheads!

Very uncomfortable.

<< THE BAND IS CUTPROOF >>

Bull.

<< YOU PAY A MONTHLY FEE >>

Understood.

<< YOU CALL A CENTRAL SWITCHBOARD AND GIVE A PASSWORD >>

Again, understood.

<< POLICE DONT NEED PASSWORD >>

So they can always get access to where your kid is? Ripe for abuse.

<< THERE IS NOTHING TO HACK >>

There are ABSOLUTELY NO FRIGGIN ELECTRONICS INVOLVED IN THE WATCH?! WTF?! How do they do this if there are no electronics in the watch?

<< I gave the link - why do I have to hold your hand? >>

yawn.

I wouldn't use it on a teen. But for a preteen, or even a toddler? You bet!

Thats an excellent idea.I wonder how many parents of missing children wish their child had this.

<< Nocmonkey you need to relax a little, go get laid or something ! >>

Relax? No, cant. There is too much big brother going around our government lately to even think about relaxing. And there are too many parents out there that are looking for ways to not have to act like a parent...

alright point taken although do you really think that he would use this devise to simplify his parenting ? I personally think that it seems like a great idea for extra percautions for preteens, when thier beginning to rely on them selves. Getting on and off the school bus even walking to a corner store ! The world is very corrupt place !

Its a tough one. Part of me says it is good, part says it is bad. I am not a parent so I dont have to be put in this situation (thank god), but my distrust for corporate America is much greater than my distrust for the American government...

Seems that sending kidnapped child hands to their parents will be in vogue among kidnappers...

Couldn't have said it better myself. What about the fvckin parents? If this doesn't give them an excuse to sit around and drink beer and not worry about the damned kids then I'll be.. it's not like it's gonna stop them from getting hit by a car. Not only that, but it opens up avenues for further "tracking" systems.. fvck that. Anyone remember the kiddy leash?

Klebold and Harris? I'm sure that if they had the watch, all would have gone great. I would like to know how the parents of those boys didn't notice them building bombs and collecting an arsenal in the basement.. this stuff worries me a great deal. I can't wait till' I have kids.. I'm gonna smack em good and make em mow the lawn all the time.
