Track Stick on laptop working backwards

I can't tell what's wrong with my Dell Latitude C400, which has both a touchpad and a track stick. The touchpad is working fine, but the track stick isn't. When I want to move the mouse up or down with the track stick, it works fine, but when I want to move it left, it moves right and vice versa. I've tried running Dell's diagnostic cd and general trouble-shooting, but I can't fix the problem. Anybody have any ideas?

Just a thought but is there anything in control panel regarding the track stick
