Track is amazing.

I wouldn't say the car was boaty, because it is pretty good at turn in and overall grip and balance, however it was very FLOATY, because it has stock suspension, worn out shocks, stock brakes, but good sticky BFG Comp2 tires.

The main issue I had was brakes, obviously, were faded and worn out after the first couple laps... or lap. But another issue was the carb was cutting out during cornering, so I couldn't rotate the car with the throttle and come flying out of the corner like I wanted to... really sucked that way.

But holy shit it was fun, I was the only guy there out of ~30 cars that was 4-wheel sliding almost every corner pushing the car to the absolute limits and beyond a few times.. permagrin for 3 weeks straight :)

Car is a 1985 Camaro Z28, Carb'd 350 swap with edlebrock intake, carb, hooker headers... 3:27 gear wish posi, 700R4 tranny with shift kit, stock everything else..

Sounds like a suspension upgrade is next on the list, then. :)

(At least once you get that carb issue sorted out...)

Brake upgrade first, looking at C6 Corvette as a possibility for ~$1000usd:

Or stick with OEM+ Camaro:

Was actually really awesome, I didn't realize that kind of tracking is that easily available, especially with track overlay and sideways force meter. Looks like you had a a lot of fun :)

Ah nice. I've got an 86 Trans-Am in the garage that I am going to rebuild someday. I was watching the video thinking that the track must really pad the speed numbers.... because you weren't going anywhere near as fast as it was reading. They I realized.... Canada. Looked fantastic though.

Thanks, super happy with the videos I got. The main straight is all uphill, I'm trying to find the grade but it's significant.
