ok ok, forget that.

what about the files name "01 - track title.mp3"

is there a way to rename all of them, without actually going through the whole collection on by one?

Paying for the CD?

i did. those are the ones that i ripped

Good MP3's = EAC + CD Database + Lame

never had that happen to me. all my cd are set to rip as as Artist - Album - Track # - Song Title.mp3

Funny, all the MP3s I rip from my original CDs have perfect tags from CDDB. Wonder what's wrong with your config?

I've run into a few (retail) CDs that don't CDDB query properly. Can't remember them offhand.

Ok, sorry. I like EAC or CDex. Never had a problem with this titling before.

What CD?

In CDex, under settings, setup your Filename Format to something like this.... %1 - %2\%1 - %2 - %7 - %4

I've come across a few that I needed to manual enter the data, then upload to freedb.org
