If you know where i can buy a 6990 without the 6 weeks lead time, let me know, i need a 3rd one...

Folding much?:p

Can't possibly imagine what on gods green earth needs 3 6990's besides a folding farm.

Very happy with my single gtx580 and here you need 3 6990s LOL

I would be happy with just the one if it was me.

The guys who got into Bitcoins really early made thousands off them.

The people at the Bitcoin forums have purchased around 20,000 plus AMD cards. I really want to see AMD's numbers at the end of the year. Frankly I'm looking forward to snapping up a few of these cards used.

Make that a two slot and pair it with a top notch full water block to get the cores up to 950+ and it would be worth $1300-$1400 all day long.

To air cool something like that is just plain silly if not criminal.

And it should have 6GB not 3GB to be "cutting edge".

I personally run a pair of 590s and have no issues with a single 30 (2560x1600) though.

For the intended high resolutions/multi-monitor setups that a $1000+ GPU setup would be purchased, the 3GB of total VRAM is a major downside, esp. given the price premium.

I really don't see the point here when you can get 3x GTX580 3GB for $1600.

It's also pretty pointless to spend $1500 on this when HD7970 CF will most leave it for dead for hundreds of dollars less.

ouch 1500 thats what a chinese worker that assembled the card makes in a year

much easier and cost effective to get two 580s
