Canceling your order today and waiting until Tuesday (the day new releases are due out) is negating the fact it is a pre-order today. You just have to order it early so it is not sold out when you look at it later in the day.

The goal was to walk in Tuesday and pick up Demon's Souls, Batman AA, and Uncharted 2. But since Toys R Us doesn't carry Demon's Souls (why, I have no idea). I actually re-preordered Uncharted 2 at Amazon There are no other 60 dollar games I currently want.

I may end up getting 3 30-40 dollar games however. Still a great deal.

I saw a video walkthrough of Demon Souls and the game basically hates you. Make sure you are in the mood for a game where if you die you start over from the beginnning of the level and might lose the "souls" you had already collected. All of the enemies respawn as well. You might want to watch the video first.

If you ask the manager first they might allow you to return one of the games later for a different title if you do not open it. Ratchet and Clank is coming out in a few weeks as well as the God of War remakes. Make sure the one you might want to return is one of the first two rung up and mnot the third one.

Or what you could do is return the extra game to Wal Mart or Best Buy and say you lost the receipt and they give you store credit then get something else you want.

FYI: You can get a free game using pre-order games. Click on Uncharted 2 and look at the special offers. It list Buy 2 get 3rd for free. Add it to your cart with two other games and it indeed shows up free.

pretty easy to figure this out yourselves, but if anyone didn't realize, you can find some buddies who may want a new game, tell em you can get them a new copy for $50. better than the 60+ with tax they would pay in store, or even online usually, and save yourself the bother of ebay.
