Yes, and it is solely GM's and Ford's responsibility to win those people back.
it's hard to defeat the US media's portrayal of this gas "crisis." go look up who has the largest oil reserves in the world and who the top importers are for the US. the answer to both is our good neighbor to the north, canada.
My statement had nothing to do with oil. It is up to the US manufacturers to change the perception that they earned years ago, by earning a new perception by producing, marketing, and supporting high quality products.
The "Big 2"'s problems have nothing to do with oil, and everything to do with their own management and decisions.
