i love the 2nd generation MR2 Turbo's. I've always wanted one but alas a Moonroof or Hardtop is hard to come by.

Well, around 91, the Eclipse GSX was $16k base, $20k equipped, while the MR2 Turbo was $30k on average. In the era of relatively inexpensive pocket rockets, a 50% markup on relatively similarly performing vehicles in relatively similar classes put the MR2 Turbo out of reach for many people. The subsequent years also showed between a 35-45% price upmarket price. :(
