toyota meet (pics)

went to a toyota meet earlier today with a group of corollas and celicas.

The drive down there was insane, 30 cars in one long ass line. Too many of us on the freeway, someone said we indirectly caused an accident, even though we were driving evenly and smoothly.

Right at the freeway exit for the meet, two GT-S celicas from another group screamed down the freeway at 100+ and cut off our group.

Everyone just checked out everyone else's car at the meet, many many Lexus cars there, specifically the IS300.

Strange world It was informal, some guys spammed every corolla/celica site on the web and said 'meet up here first and we'll head out'. Free food, raffle and free stickers :Q at the meet.

I wouldn't call an MKIV Supra an economy car, it would smoke your 'stang.


I would have like to have seen this, I used to drive Celica GT and now I have an MKIII Supra Turbo.

It was a comment about your pictures (specifically the one I posted a link to). The ones at the toyota meet. like the title says: "toyota meet (pics)".

There wasn't an F40 at the Toyota meet, where as there were Supras.

Many supras will beat my car, I'm not disputing that, however, that's completely unrelated to the fact that this picture still doesn't look like a car club meet. If I saw that picture w/o the "toyota meet" title, I'd think "why did someone take a picture from 10 cars back at an intersection?" and "car club meet" wouldn't cross my mind.

That's what my comment was. It had nothing to do with how fast supras are, or how fast they are in relation to my car.

As a note: had every car been bright purple, green, yellow or orange, w/ a big body kit and wing, then I would have thought "ricer car club meet".

I believe it's an inline 6, 3.2l? Probably blown and boosted, not worth the price. I'll take a used Viper for that kind cash, thanks.
