Sweet. Not sure how many people will appreciate this... of course, NA will never see it of course.. still pretty cool. 😀

"NA will never see it of course..."

Why, 'cause the steering wheel's on the wrong side? 😛

Seriously, it's emissions related, no?

WTF is that?

Read up on the Datsun 510.

edit: It's based off the Toyota (Toyopet), Crown Comfort.

Ornery: Not sure, to be perfectly honest. Ill look into that. Probably due to the fact that Toyota doesn't think it'd sell... when they couldn't be more wrong.

My dad owned a B210 for a short while. It didn't live long in Northeast Ohio weather and salt.

Sweet!

Chances of seeing it in the US are naturally none, as they've been making the Crown Comfort for like decades, and I doubt they're going to bring over a tuner special that they're only selling till November and is only available in 1 region in Japan (Kantou IE. Yokohama, Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba Toyopet Dealers). Price isn't bad though, if you can get over its homeliness, about $19K to $25K

man..AT's wierd....u guys hate scion's stlying and love this car's looks?!..i knw it's kinda old and they recreated it..but i'm w/ nsf4....WTF is that?!....

i think the scion look sawesome and i wolnd't mind owning it

It's pretty much a 15-year old design (think MINI or Beetle or Austing Morris) thats still being produced now as a taxi in Asia. Its rwd (like most taxies there). Now the beauty of it is that it can handle damn well cause its relatively light (but heavy compared to the Datsun).

Damn I would love to drive this car.

Yeah, same here. I love Datsun 510s, BMW 1600/2002, etc. Great handling, economy and practicality.

Anyone familiar with Toyota Crown? It looks a lot like the car in the first post.

The Crown is the second highest end car by Toyota and yeah it is the taxicab of choice in Japan.
