still stuck? im not quite sure how to get an A out of the ones that dont disappear. trying now to see how it fits in with the gray lines above the big yellow ones.

12 was a pain in the butt, you have to use the grey lines to cover up the yellow ones, so for example if you can only use 1 line then if you remove that 1 line from a digital 8 you can get U, or N, or A right? And if you can remove 2 lines you can get an H or a P. So like 8-_=A, 8- -|=C. Get the idea?

that should read 8 minus underscore equals A
and 8 minus the middle bar and the 2 right bars or 8 minus -| equals C.

thanks that helps but now all i see is roman numberic25 enter keyboard symbol what's in the sky and the asterisk, but I don't know what they mean by roman numberic. roman numerals for 25? thats XXV right? I don't know how that fits. or do they mean times new roman the font? alt-25 just gives me a down arrow symbol.

Not quite sure, but my first thought was that the first sentence contains a period while the second has question marks.
