Tough to find a Wii

So, Sunday morning, I hit up Target, Best Buy, and Toys R Us as they open. No Wii. I've been looking since release.

At Best Buy, there were at least 10 people waiting when the store opened, all wanting a Wii. Unfortunately the store didn't get any in.

Every store had at least 6 PS3's, some had much more. I'm even seeing the 20GB models in stock now.

Anyone else looking for one of these consoles? Are you able to find any?

I'm in Seattle and I've yet to see one available in person. I'm not really looking, though. I have plenty to play on my DS and PS2.

Heh..... I can get one easily. My friend lined up at 6am last weekend to buy 3. She's holding onto 2 of htem right now. I'm still debating whether I want it or not.

I thought it was limit one per customer...unless she had some friends with her.

I should ask. She bought 3 at Target and got 2 more vouchers at Best Buy.

Still having trouble in Lansing MI trying to find one. I've been going to Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, Best Buy, Gamestop and EB games, since the week after Christmas and haven't been lucky enough to find one yet.

If you're only in Lansing, hop across the river and come to Canada for an afternoon... I've seen them all over the place, and had no problem at all getting either one of my two (one for my family, one for my father)

Waiting on one to come in 3 weeks. Buddy bought one and doesn't want it, so im getting it from him for $250 with 2 games and an extra controller 🙂

All the local store, BB, CC, TRU, Target had said first week for feb for delivery..

The Nintendo World place (NYC) has them daily.. but sold out at each shipment, so they told me..

So probably get one by mid feb or late feb..

here is a tip for people looking for a wii. Keep an eye on the amazon wii forums. The people are so up to date they know when wii's are available online and can usually tell you where they are in physical stores as well. I checked on the amazon wii forums and found that circuitcity had them onsale at that moment and that is how i got mine.

No where in my small town carries consoles 🙁 Whenever I go to the city (Edmonton, AB) I have a look, but only half-heartedly, as I haven't quite convinced my wife it is a necessity.

Last night we stopped by Wal-Fart and they had 4. Heard that all of the Wal-Mart's were getting shipments today.

I got mine at launch, it didn't please me all that much and I sold it to someone on here about a month ago. I honestly don't see what's so big about the Wii. Wii Sports was fun for a while (especially w/ people over) but with other games like Zelda I didn't feel like I was getting any different an experience than if I had had a gamecube controller.
