Touchpad Software

Hey I was wondering if u guys could help me out.
My laptop just has normal touchpad, but i was wondering if there is any software (free) that I can use to partition part of the touchpad and make it a scroll bar?

I basicly want to use a portion of the right side of the touchpad as a scroll wheel and was wondering is this was possible. Thanx.

Find out who makes your touchpad, the company might have that function in their drivers. The Synaptics touchpad on my Dell does...

What notebook do you have?

my laptop is an Inspiron 8600, and ive looked through the drivers but couldnt find anything. ill check it again

It uses an ALPS touchpad, drivers can be found here.

Check in the control panel, there should be an option to set it to scroll.
