Touchpad Center/Home button doesn't work.

I just opened my new hp touchpad and as far as I can tell the center/home button doesn't work. It does nothing when I press it at the home screen or in an app. Took me for ever to figure out I can swipe up to get out of an app when I was stuck in one. Hp me had me do an erase of it which didn't help, then they had me do the doctor update which is still going at the moment. Has anyone else had this problem?

I got it straight from hp. They gave me an rma number and return shipping label for a refund since they don't have any to exchange it with. I was actually really liking webos.

HP recently emailed out they "will continue to honor our warranties now and in the future." Might want to hold off a bit when new stock is on it's way. Or see if you can get HP support to back this warranty.

Warranty would fix it I already called (I originally thought I was going to get a refurb which is why I didn't want to do this, but they said they will fix my device and not send a refurb), but I also cannot get it to connect to my schools wifi making it useless there as well. From what I have read its because the touchpad doesn't do ms-chap which the school requires. Some said you can import certs and that might fix I am going to try this tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'm just going to box it up tomorrow and put the shipping label I already have on it.
 
i had the same problem with my home button. touch the most bottom part of the screen and slide up. hope this helps. have a nice day!
