touch screen remotes

i work at a local college (just started like a week ago) and we have the sweetest remote control system ever in the theater and a couple of the computer labs...
theyre a touch screen pannel, about a 5" screen which controls all multimedia equiptment...dvd player, vcr, cd player, everything

does anyone know of a site that sells stuff like this?

I saw something like that at fry's, a very cool remote. Iit was a couple hundred bucks though.

surf remote sells a lot of remote controls

then there is equipment like crestron which is much higher end

Yea, every classroom at UTexas Austin has Crestron gear in it. Each class has about $60,000 in tech, including multiple projectors, screens, computers, A/V, etc. Every room.

The Philips Pronto is more for HT/home use. Creston is more for public auditoriums and really rich people.

i decided on getting a cheap "kameleon" 8-in-1 from radioshack
maybe when i become rich ill get one of those systems (amx or crestron) and go all out w/ the climate and lighting control
