dear god I understood exactly what you said.

I contest the deliverable and I'll get back to you in 6 months. The key stakeholders in the "touch base" group are very dug in and aren't on the same page. We've walked down this path before and need to engage other groups to present a more unified front. I'll work on the buy-in and champion the effort if you can get others in your group to get in line with our objectives.
