Hey everyone,

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, I had a good look around and came up empty all over the net.

I recently bought 3 identical ASUS MX239 monitors and am running a ATI Radeon Sapphire 7900 series (can't quite remember which).

I cant get all three monitors to enable. I can get any 2 running in either duplication or extended modes but it won't allow the third to join in on the fun. The end goal is to have all three running for peripheral vision during gaming.

The result is the same for both the windows screen resolution page and the CCC.

My GPU card has 2X mini ports, 1X HDMI, and 1X DVI(...? the big rectangle with 2 dozen prongs in it). I'm running one of each right now but will likely go and purchase another mini to HDMI for monitors 2 and 3.

I have a feeling I'm missing something pretty basic but I'm stumped.

asus mx239 only has hdmi and dvi input - so chances are you converting display port.

looks like you need an "active" display port to DVI adapter. (~$30 on fleabay)
any cheap "non active" display port to DVI adapter will not work. (~$5 on fleabay)
get an amd approved adapter to avoid any future problem.

I apologise for my ignorance but when I hear "adapter" I think a piece that goes between to different "ended" cables. So if that definition is correct then none. It's simply a cable with HDMI on one end and the Mini on the other, no removable pieces.

With the HDMI and DVI outputs used I need to use one of the mini ports. These cards are designed for up to 4 monitors. What do I require to make it work? An adapter I Imagine?
