It'd suck if the person is accustomed to a double-cylinder deadbolt, and in the daze from waking up unexpectedly, accidentally tries sticking a key into the doorknob to unlock it.


Nothing like a good jagged steel catheter, really jammed in there, and twisted for good measure.
Yeah because most doors are key-unlocked from the inside...

It actually is a product. Double-cylinder deadbolts.

That way, if a potential burglar breaks a window to reach in and unlock the door, he still can't, because the deadbolt still needs a key.
More vigorous kicking would thus be required - or else an easier point of entry. :)

I know it makes no sense for someone to use one if a door is knocked on : but just hope they don't try using a key :awe:
