Huh, think I'll actually give it a shot. Didn't go for it at launch due to pathetic AI and some stupid game mechanics, we'll see if it's improved any.

The Emperor Edition, which was just released (basically 2.0 after numerous patches/updates) is what the game should have been at released. It is finally safe to say it is a good product I think, and kudos to CA for patching it for as long as they have.
