I already did. Cops, as authoritarians, are social conservatives, enforcing the norms of society. Even as those norms change, they enforce the old ones. The more things change, the more repressive those efforts will be. It's the Law, and it's their job to enforce it. The vast majority of no-knock raids have always been about drugs, the protective gear & advanced weaponry merely better Tech for the purpose. The drug war has been an article of faith about conservative "values" for decades.

It's not a conspiracy- it's a fantasy universe where smug denial resolves cognitive dissonance & self righteous outrage is a fundamental law of physics.
