Not me, but my wife had it done yesterday. Just watched a video on how it's done. :oops:

I won't be sending her the link. Realize there are probably different procedures, but damn!

Granted, she has a way to go before being pain free and able to do what ever she wants, but really impressed that 30 hours after surgery she is home doesn't need my assistance for most things. I've been promoted to chief cook and bottle washer for a while, but done that before when she had spinal fusion.

And due to the pandemic, PT will be coming to the house for at least two weeks.

Several of our friends, one twice, have been there, and all say they would not hesitate to do it again.

I'm on the waiting list here. It's hard to be patient.
No wait on her part. Saw the orthopedic doc probably 3 months ago. Got an injection in the knee to see how that would work. On next visit since the shot had such short-term relief, she was scheduled in less than a month out. He says the hospital keeps the part in stock.
