Woohooo!!!

Just got my acceptance letter from Stetson University..... Rock on! My lord, its been over a year since i got this ball rolling.....

Still have to hear back from some higher ranked schools (i.e. UM, UF, FSU, etc...), but those are more of a longshot so im not expecting much.... Ya never know though, i could get lucky.

Anyway, just sharing my good fortune.

To those still waiting for acceptance letters, good luck to you... ~!

Probably fail math, then switch to liberal arts, where there are more pretty girls and it doesn't matter if there's 109% of a class.

Trying to figure out my chances of a given school. Also, how early on in the process did you apply?

GPA: 2.97 (from UF)
GPA: 2.93 (Adjusted down by LSAC) <-- This is the one the schools use
LSAT: 156

I applied in Mid December/Early January

Very cool. My stats were by no means very high, but just make sure you get good letters of rec, a strong personal statement, and lots of extra curriculars. I think thats what helped me the most, my semester abroad in Holland and my volunteer work.

law students go to happy hour damn near every day. engineering students are stuck in a computer lab and hardly have time to shower. i think not.

Certainly in EE you won't

Well here at McGill, Engineering is roughly 65%-35%, I think. ECE is something like 90/10, Chem is ~40/60, Mech is ~75/25, and Civil is ~40/60. I agree with you on the EE thing though, now that we're in a separate building it's extremely brutal.

Elfenix, well I'm just telling you what it's like here. Many law students already have undergrads here and have moved beyond binge drinking... Engineers on the other hand, not so much.
