I'm looking for a service manual, or at least some instruction on how to open it up. I have all the screws out, but there' still something holding it together. Don't want to snap anything!
Yup, it's all apart. Still can't quite narrow down where the problem is. The computer boots sometimes, but not others. If it gets a little twist then the monitor gets all fuzzy. I'm thinking there's a loose connection in the LCD somewhere, but I'm not sure, could be in the back right corner somewhere too. Don't want to buy a new LCD if that's not the problem.
So, if that's what the issue is, is it possible to replace the mobo, or would I be just as well off parting the thing on ebay and getting something new? I can do the work myself, that won't be an issue.

I'm not sure where you'd find one besides eBay or the OEM, but I bet you can find another motherboard if that's the issue. I don't think it would be that hard to replace the motherboard on your laptop. You should be sure that's your problem before you go looking for replacement parts, though. Is the ability to boot affected by jiggling the power connector, holding it with pressure to one side or the other, etc? Your intuition could easily be right about the loose screen connection.
when it doesnt boot, does it do anything? Like power on, but the screen doesnt do anything, if thats the case, how about external video, anything there. Or how about the LED's when its not booting, any blink codes or patterns? Also, when the screen goes fuzzy, does it go fuzzy externally too? That could help narrow mainboard vs screen or cable or connection issue.
