Forgot to mention the wireless range on this has been exceptional so far. I'm picking up wlans everywhere that I never picked up before in my neighborhood.

Didn't check the specs to see, but if it's Atheros, they make GREAT wireless cards!

Yes, it is an Atheros chipset, and it worked very well for the short time that I had it. Some guy on Craigslist bought it for $100 more than I paid for it.

Heh, I have 2 stuck pixels on my L25 Laptop.
Hmmm. I think I will still keep it as it is only two, but they are kinda annoying due to being red or blue/black all of the time (unless it is on a red or blue background.)

I agree, blows away my Dell 9200 with Centrino 2915ABG wireless.

Update: After pin-modding the cpu and swapping in a 7200 RPM hard drive and upgraded ram to 1gb, this thing screams!

All of the above except the ram were "spare parts" from previous projects.

Here's the Newegg ram I used

Upgraded the memory to 1 gb, and am very pleased with the results.

I originally purchased this laptop for non-gaming purposes, but I installed both Far Cry and F.E.A.R. to see what it could do. Both games are very playable.....on low/medium settings of course.
