Toshiba Laptop Adapter, does it use 2 prong or 3 prong?

I need to buy a surge protector for my friend but I don't know if Toshiba Satellite uses 2 prong adapter or 3 prong adapter.

Since it'll be a gift, I can't ask him


So, Toshiba Laptop users, can someone let me know about this?

Whoops, was thinking you were talking about a different set of prongs...sorry

Most Toshibas use the standard figure-8 power cords with two prongs. I believe there is a model that uses the Mickey Mouse three prong.

The Toshiba's I've seen have always been 2 prong.
