What Paul said. It really is not much of an issue in real life usage.

I mentioned it because its about the only flaw i can find in the player.
It really has exceeded my expectations.

Found this video while I was reading reviews on it. Bascially a guy tearing it completely apart. He even takes the drive out, and puts it in a PC. Pretty neato in a pocket protector sort of way 😉
 
abt electronics are good folks. bought a washer and dryer from them a few months ago and was very pleased with their service.
 
How do you think this will compare to the Xbox 360's HD-DVD player? Might as well toss in a game player for a bit more 😛 I'm amazed at how quickly the price has dropped on this!

I didn't realize you need this much power to play back HD-DVDs. That's a lot of processing power there. It's probably more power than in many people's PCs out there.
