This deal maybe just got hotter..

go to www.toshiba.com and grab their $70 mail in rebate.. (link to follow)(still need to read the fine print but it looks good so far)
use 25 off 200 coupon (expires 5/31)

299-70-100-25 and free shipping = 104

WOW...

EDIT: $70 mail in rebate expired on April 17th (too busy reading the fine print to see the big large print at the top)

It looks like there might actually still be a rebate from Toshiba on this unit. Might be just for $50.00 though. The rebate info doesn't really give an exact amount. Either 50 or 100 depending on date of purchase. I don't even see where to send the rebate to, but maybe it is valid.

This deal actually is FLAMMING...........

The oddice depot rebate is OD exculsive and is a OD rebate.

People at FW have called up and confirmed with Toshiba that the rebate is 100.00 bucks and is valid and that its a mnufacturers rebate....

There is also a 10% off coupon floating around if you search around...

Hence the breakdown is 300 - 30(coupon)- 200 (OD rebate) - 100(Toshiba rebate) = 70 + tax on 300

This is one flaming HOT deal............ grab one if you can...

I rushed and got mine today... yet to open and play with this puppy though.....

Here us the OD rebate : OD Rebate
Here is the Toshiba rebate : Toshiba rebate

Ne1 tried a pricematch at circuit city? It could be an instant $100 off plus the toshiba rebate.

Uh, its listed at $299 after the instant $100 off at Circuit City. Office Depot is already selling it for $299, it wouldn't make sense to price match with CC.

Thanks for the post luv2save!

I just thought the pricepoint of 70.00 bucks was somewhat missed thats the reason I started the new thread. ITs the visibility and yeah I am not interested in getting the credits, I just want all of us here to get in on the deal.

Personally I have missed a couple of HOT deals because of not so HOT title..
I have added the credits for the OP

Well if it needs be from the same area where you live you might as well meet in person and they might as well give you 100$ in cash, too, why wait for rebate, especially since you are new at this.
Edited: or if the previous post was out of sarcasm - saying that it would be just as fraudulent to use two rebates, than it was lost on me. I guess I have to lighten up :)

Dude, you're an idiot. If you just need someone to scan the receipt, I am willing to do this, but I have to cross out all information on where it was bought. Still cool with you?

Ahaa! Just what I expected.....funny business at The Express Group! Just received an email from them stating that I didn't comply with the rebate for the reason: purchase was made before or after the rebate offer! Well bull$ite. I have the rebate form in front of me and it say's 5/4/03 to 6/1/03, with a receipt in front of me dated 5/6/03! Now, what am I missing here??
