Toshiba DVD Player: My DVD got stuck and froze. Is this a sign of trouble with the DVD or the player?

I dont know what stuck and froze means for sure, but if it just stopped and the image itself froze, throw in another DVD. If it works, chances are that the disc is bad. See if it needs to be cleaned or if the surface is damaged.
