My DLP is fine.

You don't just need a surge protector, you need a UPS on it. If your power glitches or fails and the thing can't cool itself down properly, your bulb life will be shortened.
 
Just because you had a horrible experience doesnt mean you have to crap all over the company. Maybe your set was bad from factory and needs to be exchanged

I think i have EVERY right to crap on the company, specifically their DLP's

yea, but they said that was only with the original bulb, #4 is on its way now and im still having bulb life problems...
 
Interesting. I know a guy who bought a Toshiba floor model and their bulb blew months after their purchase. Of course it was under warranty being a floor model so it was replaced for free. Of course floor models are on all day so I just figured it was a natural thing.
