It is hard to find reviews on any hard drive online. I bought this drive a few weeks ago for $130. I find the drive to be quiet - some purchasers said it was loud. It is also clearly faster than my 5400 rpm drives. It likely isn't as fast as a WD Black, but it is about half the price. Perhaps it isn't as reliable - I dunno. Regardless, I always have a second and third copy of all data - any hard drive can fail. So I'm happy with my purchase.
