Rebate is a Paypal offer if you use Paypal. I had to go into the original email to get the Link.

Dunno about shipping. I'm still to cheap to shop.

Hmm, tempting, but I think I might still hold out for a name brand 32" at 1080p for $400 or less. I understand I may be waiting a while, but I am fine with my 22" lcd monitor for xbox 360 and pc use at the moment.

Interesting to see that CC website is still going though. I thought they were ceasing operations completely, but I guess it was just the B&M stores.

TigerDirect bought them, and 1080p is rare in 32" size.....just not needed on a smaller tv. My 32" 720p Samsung easily looks as good as my 46" 1080p Samsung.

jjmIII,

Is there a difference between viewing the 32" at six feet, and viewing the 46" at ten feet?

32" @ 6 ft is slightly bigger then 46" @ 10 ft. You would need a 52" tv at 10 ft to be equivilent.

This Viewing Distance Chart can help make comparisons.

I think you may actually have a good point here, however the 32" tv would go on my desk to replace my monitor, so viewing distance is ~3 ft. According to sciencewhiz's chart I would benefit from 1080p up to around the 6-7 ft mark if I am reading things right.
