called my local target and the electronics guy was an idiot, said he couldnt lookup a stock number in the computer, what a tool.
They will NEVER ship at that price. Got in on a deal like it last year with a price mistake and they cancelled everyone's order and that was that!
I called a ton of stores in NC, no go. Alas, I've already got an HDTV antenna and everything! The hunt continues....
Got in on it, but there's no way this will ship. It would take a lot of very clueless people to allow a bunch of HDTVs to be shipped for such a low price without somebody catching it. Maybe we'll get a GC out of it, but I doubt it. Still was worth a shot though.

Went to Best Buy for a price match. Unfortunately at some point during my fscking hour long wait in line for the CSR desk, Target changed the page to say "temporarily unavailable".... which, as you can imagine, shot down any chances of getting a PM (even offered to slip the guy a 50)
BTW I figured this would be ~600-800 @BB but they had it tagged at $1199.

bestbuy does not price match to online stores and you guys won't be getting a GC from Amazon. I am telling you, same thing happened to a bunch of us last year on an HDTV for cheap. They flat out cancelled the orders and that was that.

You'd think if it was a price error they would fix the price on their web page, it still says $279 even though it's "temporarily unavailable". How tough is it to change the price to the "correct" one?

Too bad, so sad, mine is canceled now, too! Haven't received an e-mail about it yet, though. Wonder if they will offer any kind of "reparation".
