Toshiba 32" 1080p LCD, $349, free shipping, newegg

Great deal for a name brand 32" 1080p! For those thrown off by the off-brand Auria, get the Toshiba for a bit more. Comes with more HDMI ports too.

Yep....Or head on over to Best Buy as most are on clearance 🙂

I think it's model shifting time!

THIS ONE has me THINKING!

If text is crisp, could be good because 1080p offers no mouse lag which is great!

i bit the bullet and ordered one. cheapest price i could find. every review on this model has been great so far. 4 hdmi slots? nice .. should be here by thursday

We were looking at getting a smaller LCD for our bedroom a couple of weeks ago because currently we have my wife's old Panasonic CRT TV from the stone age and it takes up too much space. We went to the store to look at them one Saturday and I strolled through the section with the large plasmas and led's before taking her through the area with the smaller tv's. We browse the smaller ~32" ones for about 5 minutes, and she says to me, "why don't we take a look at some of the bigger ones...these look too small to me".

Score! Now I'm waiting for the new Samsung/Panasonic plasmas to hit the stores to see what I'm going to do.

Any idea if the "gaming mode" reduces input lag? I have a friend that plays PS3 and other games competitively, and hates "lag TVs", of which most LCDs are. He is still using a CRT.

This TV would be nice for him, if it doesn't have input-lag issues.

Per the site the TV is 60 HZ. There might be motion blur, but not sure as I haven't seen this model in person.

Theres another 1080p 32" LG at Sears for 330$ after code: LG32TV
Edit: Heres a link http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_...lg+32ld450+&sLevel=0&prop17=LG%2032LD450

Free instore pickup or free shipping with some trial dealio...dunno what the regualr rates are.

Freind of mine has an IPS version of one of these (dont recall the exact model), and it has a "game mode" via VGA input. Its weird, but the input lag seems relatively low. Hes got a newer Asus gaming laptop (G5xxx) and you can definately notice more input lag on that (might just be slow hardware) than his PC hooked up to this. Weve had them running side by side before.

I do have a nice Trinitron CRT (usually run 16x12@100Hz), its much better, but the TV doesnt feel terribly slow in comparison (unlike the laptop). Take that for what its worth...

According to AVS forum the input lag isn't too great on this particular model. I would recommend the Sony EX400 series if youre looking for a low lag TV in the 32" range.

I picked one of these up last weekend. Amazing TV hooked up to PC and with proper settings text was clear and played a few matches of mw2 I was unable to notice any input lag. Now hooked up with the ps3 and equally impressive. Only downside I could see is only 2 HDMI ports but for my use 2 is all I need. Highly reccomend this model just have the patience to mess with settings...

Edit: I got mine at Fry's but they price matched sears.com
