This is the SB-M1402, not the M1204 (misprint). This is the one I am looking for because it's recommended by CloneCD and reads the Sub-Channel data. It can also be firmware updated to remove the region coding. Thanks... This will go well with my new Plextor 12x/10x/32x and my friends TDK VeloCD 12x/10x/32x. For all those that just got one of these CD-RW's and need a drive to read from, this is the way to go because you get a DVD-ROM drive to watch the movies too.
Reasonable shipping too, UPS 3 day for $8.xx, now if I just had the money.

Just ordered. Do we know for sure what model this is? Website describes it as the M1402 but shows the M1204 sku#. Confirmation email says it is the M1204. Can someone tell from the specification listing?

I've got the SCSI version SD-1401, nice quiet drive.. you should be very happy, I am. Storage reviee did the SCSI version, go check it out if you like...

Toshiba doesn't seem to manufacture a 1204 Model DVD -- the typo is on the invoice/email.
