I enjoy the show - usually several new videos that I haven't seen that make me laugh or cringe

Basically the only aspect of the soup that he rips off is the standing in front of a green screen and showing videos aspect.

The soup doesn't do things like web redemptions, interviews with people, video breakdowns, horrifyingly offensive but hilarious jokes, etc.

Soup has some good segments, he is just not as interactive with guests usually. Tosh does have a lot of good segments.

It's definately better than Web Junk with Patrice Oneal / Jim Breuer.

I've caught it a few times. Sometimes it was been pretty funny and others not so much. Only watch it when I don't change the channel after South Park.

I've avoided the show for a while because I figured it would be really stupid. Lately I've been watching it though. It is indeed stupid, but it's also quite funny. It really is more than showing the latest youtube videos.

His show is on fire after last season.

His standup was great too. Yeah, he's a smartass on stage, but that doesn't mean its not funny. And he pushes boundaries similar to how Chapelle did.

I don't watch the show, but found this on his blog and giggled like a little schoolgirl.

I was like... Lame immature picture. :|

Then I was like Oh thats at an icecream shop... teehe :sneaky:

Then I invented this elaborate scenario where someone working there put up that sign and none of the other employees knew :awe:

Wow...this guy is the white Dave Chappell.

He seemed like a d-bag at first, but he is actually pretty fu*king funny.

He gets away with a lot more than a white comedian has been able to in a while.

If you havent seen it, give it a chance.

Holy shit I wouldn't be able to order my ice cream if I saw that. I'd be laughing too hard.

I don't really like his stand-up, he comes off like a smug little punk, but I actually like the Tosh.0 show. I'm also a fan of the soup, so I think the style of the show is what keeps me watching more than Tosh.

thats part of his act

though i found his new standup to just be ok, the marathon last night that led up to it was comedy gold.

the web redemption of the two girls doing the hurdles was incredible.

It's completely awful. It's basically exactly the same as philip defranco and every other talking head on the web who plays videos and then speaks his youtube comment out loud instead of typing it. His standup is mediocre at best, and the show is worse.

I heard he was higher rated than the Daily Show and Colbert. Is that true?

Probably, it has a lot more mainstream appeal. Daily and Colbert have their share of stupid bits no doubt, but Tosh really caters to the lowest common denominator.

I called this in like 2004. Both he and Zach Galifianakis would be big

funny moments, but then it's just how much distasteful stuff can you take before it starts to all taste bad...
