torrent client question

I have bit-torrent. It's an unstable POS. Seems to crash overnight if I leave it running.

I did look through posts here, and it sounds like Azerous and ABC(Ithink it's ABC) are the two programs that most recomend.

Anyways, I have decided I want 2 things in a client:
1) minimize to taskbar
2) stability

I am not concerned with memory usage that much nor processor usage. I jsut want hte two above criteria to be met.

Bells and whistles are also nice, but secondary to me.

Thanks!

I've always found Azereus to be a little bit unstable, at least for me. Bittornado and uTorrent have worked well for me in its place.

Dare I go with UTorrent 1.4.1 (beta)?

Or should I just grab 1.4?

EDIT: I'm going over the change log for 1.4.1. I see some changes that make me say, yes ... try out the beta. I can always drop back to 1.4 after all ;)

Well, at least the 100k download won't take long if you need to use a different version. ;)

Does anybody have experience w/ using Utorrent AND bitcomet? I've been using bitcomet for a while now and like it, but I might switch if somebody who has used both can tell me Utorrent is better.

I heard that uTorrent is pretty good and if I ever need to switch again, I will try that out. I've been using Azureus for awhile now after using and getting rid of the Bit Torrent client and then ABC (it has a bug with max cpu utilization), and Azureus works fine with the latest version.

Try out a couple and see what you like best, that's always the best policy cause not everyone is going to share the exact same opinion.

i have bitcomet on my computer and utorrent on my dad's

they get about the same speeds but utorrent doesn't need an install which is good, but i like the built-in browser thing in bitcomet
