mine does that too, but not quite as much. the crack on his is either a cv joint, engine mount, or transmission mount.

My friend's Cobra has SOLID motor mounts and still has movement :) talk about Torque.

There is a guy at Bandimere who has the same truck I do but less Mods also, he runs .5 second behind me, he got his dyno done a month ago, he came out with 440Lbs @ the Wheels. Can't wait to get mine done.

I have a friend that had this huge Chrysler with a 400 big block in it. We broke the motor mount, and when he stomped on the gas the hood would bend up! It was funny... we fixed it with a piece of chain.

He is just doing a "reverse to first to reverse" trick with either the emergency or his foot brake on. If you do it real fast at a stop light you can make your car to a humping motion. :)

It's an Auto, so it's reverse to drive to reverse :)

The video is with the foot brake, but it does the same and sounds the same with the hand brake.

My 1986 Parisienne tilts the whole car down on the right side when you rev it hard.
You can actually feel it lifting you a tad.
The effect is even better when the stop light turns green ;)

I had a '66 Chevelle with a factory 327 4bbl that would lift a front wheel upon punching the pedal....TORQUE anyone?

BTW, it was stock....

That video does nothing more than show how soft and squishy today's engine mounts are because of the demand for less NVH (noise, vibration, harshness). A little 4 banger like that doesn't have the torque to open a jar of peanut butter and yet it can rock the engine back and forth that much, those mounts must be made from Twinkies! You wanna talk torque, how 'bout a Cummins turbo diesel w/ a Banks intercooler and compressor housing upgrade, can you say 600 lb-ft at the rear wheels? Yeah baby, very randy.

PullMyFinger - don't speak unless you know what you're speaking about. that engine is a v6 with ~215hp/215lb.ft.
