Topic View does not Stay at LINEAR View

How come all the topic view for me does stay at Linear view anymore? It's list at Linear but always showing as Threading view. It will only get to Linear when I switch to something else and switch back. Then it just goes back to Threading when I go in a new topic.

Any fix to this?
 
Go into Profile and set it there.

If it's set to Linear, then change it to something else, save, and then go back and set it back to Linear.
