Topher Grace to be 'Spidey 3' villain!

Yeah, I'm not too sure about going with all the old 60s villians. I'm sure The Shocker was great at the time, or Electro, whatever he called himself... Mysterio, yeah, whatever... good for comics; a little tough for movies. Venom is so ingrained in Spider-Man popular culture because he was such a persistent threat to Spidey... if this franchise lasts to a fourth movie, I think we'll see him make an appearance, and the Spidey Train is in full motion, so I don't see any reason Marvel wouldn't take it to four, or even five films, especially if the third is better than the second.

Some of the possible backstory for venom has already been set up in spidey 2. Jonah Jameson's son is an astronaut so the third movie could open with him on a space mission where say his shuttle is hit by an small asteroid containing the symbiote or say rocks with the symbiote were brought back from mars and through whatever event it attaches itself to jameson jr. Jr finds out parker is really spiderman and wants revenge for stealing his fiance yadda, yadda....

In the ultimate spiderman books carnage was created when curt connors(the lizard) mixed spidey's blood and the venom symbiote created by parker's father.

Isn't ultimate spiderman a retelling of the whole spiderman story. Carnage was originally the son of Venom's symboite half.

Yes it is but I'm just pointing out another possiblity for carnage to come into being. It's a movie not everything will be cannon.
