In no particular order:

RTCW.
MOHAA.
Unreal.
Quake.
Quake 3 (botmatch).
NOLF.
JK2.
JA.
SOF2.
EF2.
Doom 3.
Far Cry.
Undying.

There are many good ones, but as far as gameplay goes, I believe while it's old, Q3 is still tops. Its not the most played anymore, but playing Q3 online is pretty darn good.

Teh roxor.
"The Shay-man was a spakin' waird words and holding a glowing stone...."

That game is the most underrated FPS ever.

BTW- I'd add "Alice" to the list.

I dont know about top 10, I do know my favorite FPS is Tribes.

Another thing we disagree on, although I only own Vengeance.

The first Tribes was by far the best game of the series.

Sadly, it didnt get much publicity. It was very easy to warez, and was only a little more than 200mb installed. It was not newbie friendly, as its very, very fast, and flying adds a whole new dimension on FPS. It was way ahead of its time be released in 1998.

The classics never die. 🙂

Also Quake at 1920x1440 with 16xAF and 8xAA looks suprisingly good.

That game is the most underrated FPS ever.
Agreed. That game is absolute genius; it's a shame EA pulled the plug on the sequel because of poor sales. There are a lot of questions I wanted to see answered.

Agreed again. Undying should have achieved Quake/Unreal status, the game was far better than either.

If you are looking for singleplayer experience, Star Wars Republic Commando is absolutely awesome. Its only problem is that it is really short. It feels like an expansion pack sized add-on to game.

Most enjoyable FPS ive played in years.

Rollo and the other Undying fans (myself I've only tried the demo, but it looks quite interesting), I believe Clive Barker is about to help develop a new game. Not an Undying sequel, but at least something with him involved.
