This is not my definitive list, it's just what I came up with at the moment.

Star Control 2
Civilization
Red Storm Rising
Warcraft 2
Simcity 2000
Caesar II

I feel bad there is no Apogee game there, but I can't pick just one. Keen 4, maybe.

Sam and Max Hit the Road
Tie Fighter
Doom
Day of the Tentacle
Fallout
Sim City 2000 (Really the original Sim City but I have to admit that the 2000 version was deeper and a lot more fun).

1) Ultima 7 (Parts 1 & 2)
2) Star Control 2
3) Wing Commander 2 (1 was excellent, 3 was okay)
4) Privateer
5) Civilization
6) Railroad Tycoon

1) StarFlight (awesome game)
2) SimCity
3) Civilization
4) Zork (Series)
5) Serf City (basically Settlers I)
6) Harpoon

1) Quest for Glory
2) Wing Commander 2
3) Wing Commander 1
4) Wing Commander: Privateer
5) Master of Orion
6) Ultima 6 (I played them all and liked 6 the best)

There are a ton of great DOS games I could list, but these are the top ones for me.

1.) Doom
2.) Wolfenstein 3D
3.) Duke Nukem 3D
4.) X-Wing
5.) X-Com
6.) MechWarrior 2

1. Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny
2. Crusader: No Remorse
3. System Shock
4. Tyrian 2000
5. Crusader: No Regret
6. Lands of Lore: Throne of Chaos

1. Duke 3d
2. Warcraft: Orcs & Humans
3. Warcraft II
3. Doom
3. Simcity 2000
4. NES emulator 🙂
5. Simfarm
6. Descent
7 Descent II

Sorry all my old favs are coming back to me now.

1. Full Throttle (own it)
2. Master of Orion 2 (still own)
3. Doom (own Doom 95 and Final Doom)
4. Duke3D (own, and play with a Win32 executable)
5. TIE Fighter (lost it, but replaced with X-Wing Alliance, which is better)
6. Warcraft (lost, dont care. Still have warcraft 2 Battle.Net)

1. UFO: Enemy Unknown (first X-COM)
2. Fallout
3. Heroes of Might and Magic 2
4. System Shock
5. Crusader: No Remorse
6. The Secret of Monkey Island (both! 😀)

No particular order though. Enjoyed all those games equally. Obviously I can add so many more... 😛

I honestly didn't really like Mechwarrior that much. Mechwarrior 2 was awesome though.

I loved it. Locust was the best Mech. Me and a friend spent hours doing Missions taking out everything with the Locust.

The part of the game that I remember was the stock portion. If you kept all your money in medium risk stocks, it would always trend upwards, while high risk really was a crap shoot.

I remember that the game had little to do with Battletech, which is probably why I didn't enjoy it that much. If I didn't know how to play the board game before playing the computer game, I probably would have had more fun. MW2 was suprisingly faithful to the gameplay of the boardgame, however.

1. Mechwarrior 1,2
2. Syndicate
3. Decent 1,2
4. Civilization
5. Duke Nukem
6. Eye of the Beholder and Pool of Radiance series

Never played the Board Game and didn't(IIRC) buy Stocks. Just took Missions.
