From their letter to the president-

“We congratulate you and your team,” the letter says in its opening to Mr. Obama, adding that the Iran deal “will advance the cause of peace and security in the Middle East and can serve as a guidepost for future nonproliferation agreements.”

How's that fit with the emotional propagandizing coming from Bibi & friends?

Why would it matter what scientists think? It certainly doesn't matter what scientist think about climate change. Your LBD leads you to believe people who suffer from CBD are capable of being rational and logical, they are not.

As this thread grows you will see multiple people come up with any excuse in the world why these scientists and experts should be ignored, all backed up with their gut feeling.

All the nuclear scientists are in the left's pocket along with the climate scientists.

I wonder what these useful idiots said 20 years ago under the North Korean deal. You all know the consequences of that.

Democrat propaganda does not matter, Iran will have nuclear weapons. Its their only logical step and you all know it. You also know sanctions are failing and will continue to fail, "snapping" them back is impossible.

This is a sick game to further advance nuclear proliferation lead by people that are either morons or liars.

Did you know the gulf between established science and the anti GMO crowd is greater than the same for climate change and it's deniers?

Left and right have issues they resist in disagreement with science. The effects of anti GMO campaigns in Africa are scary and have had tremendously negative impacts on crops. genetically modified crops were already in existence that were resistant to all sorts of blights but made illegal due to buy in by governments from the anti GMO campaigns.

I don't see any national politician on the left talking about the hazards of GMO's with zero science to back them up, do you?
There are lots of stupid people, no party has a monopoly on them but one party actually has elected officials who run on stupid, they chair committees, they create policy based on anti science. And more importantly, only one party actively panders to the stupid.

Your cries of "they are all the same" is bullshit, refuted by a shit ton of evidence.

I never said they are all the same, quit lying.

All I am pointing out are pet issues of both left and right that reject science.

Your point regarding politicians is a good one, too bad you are so butthurt you had to end your post the way you did.

Almost every reply to me, no matter what the topic, has been you telling me something to the effect that everyone does it or everyone is the same. I'm not buying it.

Here is you almost 10 years ago

Weren't the same words used to assure people on not being aggressive against North Korea? I have to assume we will end up with the same results.

Clear as day, but many here will have us submissively apologize to their violence before we're allowed to stand up and condemn their violence. We?re apparently savages for not wanting to be converted or killed; heaven forbid if anyone prevents their violence.

Our loss in this war was predetermined when we starting fighting amongst ourselves in the face of our enemy.

First, slime some of the best minds in the country, people who undoubtedly know more about the subject than you ever will.

Cast aspersions with a red herring reference to the DPRK.

Assert faith as fact while invoking "logic".

Tell me what I know.

Close with more character assassination of honest & patriotic Americans.

Never realizing that you're being absolutely ridiculous. Get a grip. Take control of your emotions.

Meh.

At best this is political opinion based on the best case scenario of Iran adhering to the treaty. At worst it's blatant propaganda that uses the "but, scientists" to hustle public opinion after schumer's decision.

A. When I look for geopolitical insight, my first inclination isn't to pick the brain of a scientist.

B. Was this meant to be some sort of bombshell?

Was this a peer reviewed letter? It's the only way to know if their conclusions were valid.

Whatever you say sport. If I'm being an asshole believe when I say it takes a much bigger one to bring it out of me.

Your posts are almost always simple derisive comments completely devoid of any analysis of the subject at hand.

If you want to compare our posts I'm happy too, I don't think your posting history gives you any standing to criticize others.

Lol! Defensive are we? First off, I didn't call you an asshole. 2nd, I simply disagree with your opinion and call bullshit. You either, agree, or you lay down some facts that back your claim, or you dispute the facts I laid down. Easy sport;)

Loved this line

Some have expressed concern that the deal will free Iran to develop nuclear weapons without constraint after ten years.
"Some have expressed concern..blah blah"

Yeah, no shit.

Was this meant to be read by the president of by the public?

This is lazy propaganda. :|

Actually, it's based on technical assessment by experts in the field of nuclear weapons proliferation. As they point out, it's an enormous improvement over current NPT structures & strictures.

Trying to label it as propaganda is shameful, particularly with Garwin's name at the top of the list. None of them get paid for saying what they do, unlike the talking heads for the naysayers.

Sorry, you can't simulate politics like you can with nature. It just doesn't work. Like I said, this is at best political opinion based on the best case scenario. And IMO lazy propaganda.

I believe that he has some serious mental issues and found him incapable of objective, rational thought. Good luck trying to have a reasonable discussion with him.

For someone who supposedly has me on ignore, you sure seem interested in, not only what I say but in what other people have to say about me;)

Haha! Just call me Pavlov, ring ring boy!

Sorry, but you're impugning the character of honest & highly knowledgeable men to suit a political agenda of fear & hatred.

Obviously, they didn't simulate that or anything else to reach their conclusions.

I didn't say you called me an asshole did I? How many times are you going to put words in my mouth today? You just did so in another thread, the one about the emt and fast food workers and $15 minimum wage. Maybe that's your problem.
