Jeep Wrangler = Masculine

Wranglers are one of the gayest cars out there, according to an amusing gay website Top Gear featured 😉

I usually see them being driven by chicks, or blokes with highlighted hair, FWIW 😉

These are some much more manly that jeeps and even the old defender 90s:

Pretty much, the only people I've ever known to drive were either very feminine girls or some of the douchebaggiest white boys I've ever met.

Shoot.. you're right. I guess Jeeps are rugged-chic. And come to think of it, with the small tires Chrysler INSISTS on giving them, they look cutesy too. GM really stomped on Jeep with the H3 and its 33" tires

Ford Bronco?

<--- Looks at his 95' Ford Bronco EB

Also any *domestic* pickup.

NOT REALLY

The truck itself is masculine. Just because two gay men are standing next to one does not make the vehicle itself gay. If you gave 1,000 women the choice of that old Ford or an open-top Jeep Wrangler, what do you think they would choose? I would guess no less than 995 would choose the jeep.

That Ford *is* masculine.

The Wrangler is one of the most capable off-road vehicles out of the box and the mod opportunities are huge. I guarantee my 99 TJ with 33's will go places an H3 can't.

H3's are capable, but the Wrangler absolutely destroys it I think.

Sure, you see a lot of girls driving Wranglers, and those beach-style guys love them... but well I'd be a mix between the beach-style and actual Wrangler guy. Meaning, my Wrangler would be covered in mud more days than it would be clean. At least, unless it rains a lot. lol I'd be too lazy to wash it a lot and it'd definitely build up mud from taking it to the trails. If I lived by a beach, it'd definitely be my cruising around town vehicle too.

I still say, I'm gonna get one of the new Challengers sometime in the next 5-10 years (come on Dakota, hold out till then!), and pick up a cheap older Wrangler that I work on to make it more trail-capable. That way, I have a good vehicle for the Ohio winters (things are light but the 4-wheel drive will be better than the Challenger in the snow I'd imagine).
Might have to get that Wrangler first if the Dakota doesn't last until I can afford a Challenger. '97 Dakota with around 105k on it... may or may not require expensive maintenance to keep it around long enough. And if I can milk a lot more out of it, would be good transport for the ATV I'd love to own later in life too. 🙂

Unlike all these unique vehicles being posted, Toyota trucks seem to be very manly. I don't think I've ever seen a girl driving a Tacoma or the older Toyota pickups.
