I love the movie, seen it many times.
One question???
There is a scene where they are watching some Vietnam combat footage and one of the pilots says

"This gives me a hard on"

and then the other guys says

"Don't tease me"

WTH 😕
They are in the Navy, but I figured he has to mean something else...
May be it was Slider and Wolfman, can't remember who said what...

So what did he mean by that?
