Yeah, sad to see Dale go but he fucked up major that episode

That whole restaurant idea was garbage from the onset. I mean warehouse kitchen even sounds cooler, like a legitimate restaurant.

i gotta ask ...

did anyone else think that this restaraunt wars episode felt "rushed" ? i recently watched s1 and s2 and breezed through them, and I remember them just showing a lot more about the restaurant than they did last night. even the judges table last night was very short for the winning team. they asked like who cooked 2 dishes and that was it. i thought they were going to praise them a little bit more or just talk a little bit more in general.

I agree with you. I think there is more drama in the kitchen so they focus on that.

yeah, i thought to myself, "were the previous restaurant wars episodes longer?" i know the wedding wars episode was 75 minutes... wish they had devoted the extra time to last night's episode as well.

maybe if the 2 sides were closer it would make for a better/longer episode, but it seems like there wasn't much debate to be had about winners/losers.

Yah, that team is definitely allstar

Works VERY well together, with only one goal: great food

I caught a bit of a marathon run on Bravo this weekend for Season 4.

The "chefs" just don't have the personality or appeal that season 3 did. Season "3" Dale had more charisma on his sleeve than most of these guys do put together.

Pity that Lisa and Spike both didn't get the axe. Neither of them deserves to be anywhere near the final four.

very true. I still don't understand why Lisa is there. Same goes for Spike. I hope Richard wins, he seems to have the best food

I still like Spike more than Lisa. And the show really needs to stop focusing the camera on that Monogram logo.

i thought antonia is always near the top in challenges, so i don't mind her. lisa/spike, whoever made it wouldn't have been better (culinary wise) than dale...

i just wanna slap lisa when she is in front of the judges. the arms crossed over her chest and that really pissed smug look is just nasty.

I agree with Antonia deserving to be there. She's been pretty much rock solid the entire time. Same goes for Richard. I'm glad Spike got the boot, I was actually hoping they would toss Lisa as well, but c'est la vie.

Can't wait for the finale. :D

An interesting thought,

Wouldn't it bee kinda cool to see the past winners go at it in a head to head?

That went pretty much as expected. Spike did a sick job with the butchering, but frozen scallops wtf

funny how spike won the past 2 quick fires and had a 1up in the elimination challenge, but ended up in the bottom on both of those.

also ... i have to reiterate how hot Padma is.

I loved Spike's comments to the guest judge regarding his walk-in having frozen scallops. "Wrong move." lol.

Went as expected indeed. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Antonia wants to get freaky with Tom. I also think she is better than Stephanie, and it will come down to her and Richard. Antonia has more confidence and thinks better on her feet imo.

Still think the top 3 technicians are Richard, Dale and Antonia personally...

And yeah... looking at all those beautiful medium-rare steaks was almost too much to take... I think I will stop by the butcher after work today.

she does seem to consistently wind up near the top, but as a viewer, i can never tell exactly why. she doesn't put out anything that strikes me as terribly creative or appetizing-looking. that, plus i just don't like her.

Really dumb. Perhaps it needed to be said, no self-respecting high-end restaurant would have frozen scallops on hand. But to call out a judge before judging is just plain suicidal.

The guy should have shot back "yeah, it was a booby trap to see if anyone was silly enough to use them you dumbass."
